How to Use a Cheetah DVD Burner

Digital Versitile Disks (DVD) have replaced the CD-ROMs and floppy disks they had replaced. DVDs can hold vast amounts of information which makes them the preferred vehicle for storage. If you have the Cheetah DVD Burning Software, you can easily transfer songs, movies, or any other content onto a DVD.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

• Computer with DVD burner drive Cheetah DVD Burner software Blank DVD Content to be transferred to DVD

1. Disable whatever method your computer has for DVD burning. For Windows, click “Start,” “Control Panel” and “Administration Tools.”
2. Double click the icon labeled “Local Security Policy.” Double click “Security Options.”
3. Double click “Restrict CD-ROM access to locally logged on users only.” Click “Enable.”
4. Double click the icon for Cheetah DVD Burner from your desktop or Start menu.
5. Choose the content you wish to burn. Be sure that the size of the content will fit on the size DVD you plan for its destination. If not, you will have to divide the content among multiple disks.
6. Choose the destination drive. If you only have one drive, simply click “OK.”
7. Insert a blank DVD into the destination drive. You cannot add to a DVD that already has content, no matter how much free space is available.
8. Click “Burn to Disk.” The time to transfer the information varies based on your DVD drive speed and the amount of content you are transferring.
